Participation Policy

Koshta Collective is an independent cross-disciplinary creative collective. We bring together artists, designers, producers, developers, curators, researchers and creative technologists to develop projects across culture, media, technology and visual communication.

Participation in Koshta Collective is based on collaboration rather than employment. Every participant contributes their own expertise while maintaining their professional independence.

Who Can Participate

We welcome individuals and organizations whose work aligns with our creative direction and values, including:

  • Artists and media artists
  • Designers and creative directors
  • Motion designers and animators
  • Developers and technical artists
  • Producers and project managers
  • Writers and researchers
  • Photographers and filmmakers
  • Cultural institutions, brands and creative partners

Participation is by invitation or after mutual review of a portfolio or previous work.

Principles of Participation

Every participant agrees to:

  • act professionally and respectfully;
  • maintain high creative and technical standards;
  • communicate openly and respond within reasonable timeframes;
  • respect deadlines and project commitments;
  • protect confidential information;
  • comply with applicable laws and intellectual property rights;
  • avoid plagiarism and unauthorized use of third-party materials.

Koshta Collective reserves the right to discontinue collaboration if these principles are violated.

Independent Status

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, participants act as independent contractors or independent collaborators.

Participation in the collective does not create:

  • an employment relationship;
  • a partnership;
  • a joint venture;
  • exclusive representation.

Participants remain responsible for their own taxes, insurance and legal obligations.

Intellectual Property

Ownership of intellectual property is defined individually for each project.

Unless otherwise specified in a written agreement:

  • participants retain ownership of their pre-existing work and tools;
  • project-specific deliverables may be transferred or licensed to the client under the relevant contract;
  • Koshta Collective may reference completed projects in its portfolio unless restricted by confidentiality obligations.

Attribution

Whenever practical and contractually permitted, Koshta Collective aims to credit contributors for their work.

The format and extent of attribution may vary depending on client requirements, confidentiality obligations and production constraints.

Confidentiality

Participants may receive confidential information relating to clients, partners or internal projects.

Such information must not be disclosed, copied or used outside the scope of the project without prior written permission.

Confidentiality obligations continue after participation ends.

Code of Conduct

Koshta Collective maintains a respectful and inclusive working environment.

Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, abusive behavior or any conduct that undermines collaboration will not be tolerated.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate participation at our sole discretion where such conduct occurs.

Project Acceptance

Participation in one project does not guarantee participation in future projects.

Project invitations are based on creative fit, expertise, availability and client requirements.

Payments

Compensation, if applicable, is defined individually for each engagement through a separate agreement, purchase order or statement of work.

Changes to this Policy

Koshta Collective may update this Participation Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on the website.
